This Saturday, Open House and a New School Year

We here at Tyson House are gearing up for a new school year and would like to welcome new and returning students this Saturday, August 16th to an open house from 9am to 5pm. We’ll be serving free lunch from 11am to 1pm, and all day, we’re selling recyclable carpet tiles for your dorm or apartment. Proceeds benefit the ministry, so come on out and meet new and returning students and enjoy the day with us!
Worship this year kicks off on Sunday, August 24th at 6:04pm. We will serve a free dinner, followed by contemplative worship with Holy Communion. We’ll watch the closing ceremonies of the Olympics together afterward, so plan to join us and hang out together.
In addition, this year, we’ll be adding a mid-week break for spiritual reflection. You’re welcome to join us every Wednesday at 12:22 for a spoken Holy Communion service. Our first lunch-hour Eucharist will be on the first day of classes, Wednesday August 20, and it will be over in time for you to get to your 1:25 class.
